The No Fun League

Does the National Football League also stand for the no fun league? Or are they just sticking to NFL policy? You be the judge, but either way, they lost a ton of FREE publicity. The Chicago Blackhawks were willing to pay for the ad as well as the placement of the ads, an offer some "businesses" would never refuse.

Don´t they realize how advertising (especially when it´s free) works? It would have created an entertaining, positive image for the Chicago bears, not to mention the NFL as a whole. They would have been seen as a fun, sports-of-any-type-loving kind of organization. It could have been a great historic, promotional partnership (which is exactly what it would have been) between two (not even rival) sports teams; as well as a great way to promote and advertise Chicago, itself.

NFL, you could have, would have, should have.
